Adobe ReaderLearning Objectives Multiple learning objectives based on subtopic and resource.
Grade Levels The topics cover multiple grade levels including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. CA Standards Covers multiple standards from the Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools. How could you use this resource? Students can use this resource at home and in a lab by working on the interactive math activities and lessons. These lessons are done on the computer but there are worksheets the teacher can print and give them to the students to take home and do. There are also online calculators the student can use as well as practice problems for each topic. I think teachers can use this site in a variety of ways. The teacher can print activities that the students can do as a group, the site can be used as a demonstration because there are many interactive resources, and the teacher can integrate this into the introduction lesson because there are definitions with examples to go along with it. The resource is moderately easy to use. The only problem I had was that because there are so many links for each topic and the links are in a smaller font than normal it would become hard to navigate because I'd mistake the link for just plain text. Then I realized that almost all the link pages on this resources are colored turquoise.
EL and Special Needs This site addresses the needs of EL students because each subtopic within the course is defined. The teachers can modify the site by making the activities into group work and lessons can even be printed and given to the students. Each practice problem provides extra instruction if the student can't solve it.
