There are many financial resources available for achieving science teaching career goals or for adding resources to the science classroom. Listed below are some of the major programs available to future and current science teachers.
Cal State Teacher Ed Scholarships

Knowles Science Teaching Foundation
The Knowles Science Teaching Foundation supports individuals and programs designed to encourage and sustain young scientists and mathematicians as they dedicate their lives to teaching other young people and to becoming leaders in the field of education. Robert C. Noyce Scholarship Program
Several CSU campuses have National Science Foundation Grant funded Noyce Programs. The Noyce Scholars program provides scholarships and stipends for prospective mathematics and science teachers who are committed to teach in high needs school districts. At this time the following CSU campuses support Noyce Scholars on their campus:

Payne Scholarship Program
CSTA is pleased to present a series of sessions designed for Pre-Service Teachers at the California Science Education Conference. Funded by the Karen and Christopher Payne Family Foundation and developed with the assistance of the Association for Science Teacher Education (ASTE), the program will include workshops, a Focus Speaker, and roundtable discussion as well as a post-conference mentorship element. Participants who fulfill the requirements will receive a $100 stipend plus a Certificate of Completion and special T-shirt
The Assumption Program of Loans for Educators (APLE)
The Assumption Program of Loans for Educators (APLE) is designed to support students who are planning to teach science in high need schools. The APLE program pays up to $19,000 on outstanding loan balances over 4 consecutive years of service. Click here to find out more about this program.

California Math and Science Partnership Program
School districts can apply for grants under the California Math and Science Partnership Program. This program is designed to help teachers to become NCLB compliant. Your district may be interested in considering this program. To learn more about it, click here
National Science Foundation
